Abstract
У статті розглядаються питання комерційного використання зразків людського біологічного матеріалу та продуктів/препаратів, виготовлених із них, через призму діяльності біобанків. Сучасні технології дають змогу ефективно та якісно переробляти людський біологічний матеріал, що забезпечує ощадливе його використання. Проблематика комерціалізації біоматеріалу людини зачіпає етичні та соціальні питання в контексті неприпустимості чи зловживань у тих чи інших випадках використання зразків із комерційною метою. According to the general legal principle, the human body and its components cannot be used for commercial purposes. But in the context of biobanking, some samples of human biological material, such as blood, are used for commercial purposes. Commercialization in biobanking is intertwined with social and ethical aspects. Interests of investors pursue the goal of outputting a particular product to the market. This paper focuses on some of the issues of commercialization of human biological samples in relation to the rights and interests of donors.
