    Дослідження функцій правоохоронних органів у контексті забезпечення прав і свобод громадян є надзвичайно актуальним у сучасних умовах, коли правова держава стикається з численними викликами, включаючи збройні конфлікти, соціально-політичні кризисні ситуації та внутрішні правові реформи. Важливість цієї теми визначається необхідністю ефективного функціонування правоохоронних органів для забезпечення правопорядку та підтримання довіри суспільства до правової системи. У статті аналізується, як правоохоронні органи реалізують завдання, покладені на них державою, та як вони сприяють утвердженню правової системи. Підкреслюється значення правоохоронних органів як гарантів державної політики у сфері прав людини, їх роль у зміцненні правопорядку та безпеки, а також у підвищенні правової обізнаності суспільства. The research of the functions of law enforcement agencies in the context of ensuring citizens’ rights and freedoms is extremely relevant in the current environment, where the rule of law is facing numerous challenges, including armed conflicts, socio-political crises and internal legal reforms. The significance of this topic lies in the necessity for effective law enforcement agencies to guarantee law and order, thereby maintaining public confidence in the legal system. An analysis of regulations and strategic documents, such as the National Human Rights Strategy, indicates that the protection of citizens’ rights and freedoms is a priority for law enforcement agencies. In the context of legal system reforms aimed at increasing transparency, efficiency and accountability of law enforcement agencies, special attention should be paid to mechanisms that guarantee the protection of human rights.
