Abstract
У статті розкрито проблеми та перспективи ухвалення Виборчого кодексу України. Зазначено, що ухвалення Виборчого кодексу України є одним з основних напрямів вдосконалення вітчизняного виборчого законодавства, яке сьогодні досить розгалужене та дещо розбалансоване. Ухвалення Виборчого кодексу дозволить уніфікувати основні виборчі процедури, узгодити виборче законодавство України та зробити його більш доступним і зрозумілим. Зроблено висновок, що поспішність і надмірна політизованість процесу ухвалення Виборчого кодексу України може знівелювати всі його позитивні здобутки та перетворити його на черговий виборчий закон, який був ухвалений під конкретний вид виборів. The article deals with the problems and prospects of the adoption of the Electoral Code of Ukraine. It is stated that the adoption of the Electoral Code of Ukraine is one of the main directions of improving the domestic electoral legislation, which is today quite branched and somewhat unbalanced. Adoption of the Electoral Code will unify the main electoral procedures, harmonize the electoral legislation of Ukraine and make it more accessible and understandable. It is concluded that the haste and excessive politicization of the process of adopting the Electoral Code of Ukraine can dampen all its positive achievements and turn it into another electoral law, which was approved for a particular type of election.
