Abstract
Дисертація присвячена дослідженню конституційно-правового статусу засобів масової інформації в Україні та США. У межах предмета дослідження здійснено аналіз наукових досліджень, регламентацію зазначеного статусу і на цій основі визначено такі поняття та елементи конституційно-правового статусу засобів масової інформації, як правосуб’єктність, принципи, повноваження, гарантії й відповідальність. Крім того, у дисертації розглянуто роль засобів масової інформації у розбудові суспільства в Україні та США, а також діяльність засобів масової інформації щодо формування держави в Україні та США. За результатами проведеного дослідження сформульовано низку висновків, пропозицій та рекомендацій, запропонованих особисто здобувачем. The dissertation is devoted to the study of the constitutional and legal status of the mass media in Ukraine and the USA. Within the scope of the study, the author analyses scientific research and regulation of this status and, on this basis, defines the concepts and elements of the constitutional and legal status of the media, such as legal personality, principles, powers, guarantees and responsibility. In addition, the dissertation examines the role of the mass media in the development of society in Ukraine and the USA, as well as the activities of the mass media in shaping the State in Ukraine and the USA. Based on the results of the study, a number of conclusions, suggestions and recommendations were formulated by the applicant.
