    У статті розглянуті проблемні питання щодо запобігання Національною поліцією України кримінальним правопорушенням та шляхів удосконалення організаційноправових механізмів цієї діяльності. Наголошено на необхідності подальшого вдосконалення правового врегулювання засад діяльності правоохоронних органів, у тому числі й Національної поліції України, щодо запобігання кримінальним правопорушенням та протидії злочинності. Визначено напрями вдосконалення запобіжної діяльності. The article examines the state of legal and organizational support of crime prevention by the National Police of Ukraine, its effectiveness and compliance with modern tasks of crime control. It is noted that the criminogenic situation in Ukraine in recent years indicates a consistently high level of crime, and the counteraction to it by the National Police remains insufÏciently effective. A destructive factor in the maintenance of law and order, negatively influencing the criminogenic situation, is the martial law imposed in connection with the armed aggression and full-scale invasion of Ukraine by russia. Priority steps, ways and directions of improvement of legal and organizational support of such activities are considered.
