    Стаття присвячена визначенню місця Міністерства оборони України у системі центральних органів виконавчої влади. Автором розглянуто існуючі в науковій літературі думки вчених щодо сутності виконавчої влади, з’ясовано її сутність. Охарактеризовано систему центральних органів виконавчої влади загалом і такий різновид її складників, як міністерство. The article is devoted to determining the position of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine in the system central executive authorities. The author considered existing in scientific literature scientists’ opinions on the essence of executive authority and its essence was clarified. The system of central executive authority as a whole and a kind of its component, as a ministry is described.
