    У статті досліджуються окремі проблеми кримінально-правової охорони законної професійної діяльності журналістів. Аналізується потерпілий від злочинів, передбачених ст. ст. 171, 345-1, 347-1, 348-1, 349-1 Кримінального кодексу України. Досліджено погляди науковців стосовно того, хто може бути потерпілим від злочину. Розглянуто найпоширеніші визначення поняття «журналіст», що містяться в законодавстві, і встановлено найбільш універсальне й таке, що містить усі істотні ознаки. The author analyses single problematic issues of criminal law protection of the lawful professional activity of journalists. The victim of the crimes under Art. 171, 345-1, 347-1, 348-1, 349-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine is analyzed. The author also investigates the views of scientists regarding who may be the victim of the crime. The most common definitions of the term “journalist” contained in the legislation have been considered and the most universal one, which contains all the essential features has been established.
