    Critical thinking and vulnerability to fraud. Критичне мислення та вразливість до шахрайства

    Digitalisation, the proliferation of online interaction and generative artificial intelligence are creating new opportunities for fraud, thereby increasing the importance of critical thinking, the ability to assess the reliability of information and the capacity to resist manipulation. The aim of this study was to investigate the influence of critical thinking on an individual’s vulnerability to fraud through a systematic analysis of contemporary academic literature and a comparison of the findings with the factual circumstances established in the judgements of Ukrainian courts. Цифровізація, поширення онлайн-взаємодії та генеративного штучного інтелекту створюють нові можливості для шахрайства, підвищуючи значення критичного мислення, оцінки достовірності інформації та здатності протидіяти маніпуляціям. Метою роботи було дослідження впливу критичного мислення на вразливість особи до шахрайства шляхом системного аналізу сучасної наукової літератури та зіставлення отриманих результатів із фактичними обставинами, встановленими у вироках судів України.
