    У статті вказується, що у зв’язку із прийняттям КПК України 2012 р., було змінено саму парадигму кримінального процесу та запроваджено нові інститути кримінального провадження, що обумовило появу у кримінальному процесі України нового його типу – прагматичного, який надає можливість особі у кримінальному провадженні реалізувати надане законодавцем об'єктивне право на компроміс через інститути звільнення особи від кримінальної відповідальності, кримінального провадження на підставі угод та, в майбутньому, медіації. The article indicates that in connection with the adoption of the Criminal Codex of Ukraine in 2012, the paradigm of the criminal process was changed and new institutions of criminal proceedings were introduced, which led to the emergence a new type of criminal process in Ukraine – a pragmatic one, which provides an opportunity to a person in criminal proceedings implement the objective right to compromise given by the legislator through the institutions of release of a person from criminal responsibility, criminal proceedings that based on agreements and, in the future, mediation.
