    Статтю присвячено розкриттю змісту та види правової категорії «адміністративно-правові засоби забезпечення безпеки дорожнього руху органами і підрозділами Національної поліції». Виявлено, що відсутність теоретично усталеного розуміння юридичної категорії «адміністративно-правові засоби» спровокувала різнобічне її трактування вченими, у тому числі адміністративістами. З’ясовано, що дорожній рух – це нормативно врегульований процес результатом якого є пересування людей та вантажів автомобільними дорогами, вулицями, залізничними переїздами за допомогою транспортних засобів або без них. The article is devoted to the disclosure of the content and types of the legal category "administrative and legal means of ensuring road traffic safety by bodies and units of the National Police." It was revealed that the lack of a theoretically established understanding of the legal category "administrative and legal means" provoked its diverse interpretation by scientists, including administrativeists. It was found that road traffic is a normatively regulated process, the result of which is the movement of people and goods along highways, streets, railway crossings with or without vehicles.
