Зазначено, що в науці міжнародного права панують різні доктринальні підходи щодо тлумачення поняття «міжнародно-правова відповідальність», що свідчить про пошук найоптимальніших шляхів пізнання правової природи даного явища міжнародно-правової дійсності. Запропоновано авторський варіант визначення «міжнародно-правова відповідальність». The work is devoted to the study of the problem of international legal responsibility of states. It is noted that different doctrinal approaches to the interpretation of the concept of «international legal responsibility» prevail in the science of international law, which indicates the search for the most optimal ways of learning the legal nature of this phenomenon of international legal reality. The author's version of the definition of «international legal responsibility» is proposed.
