    Стаття присвячена питанням місцевих запозичень та їх ролі у фінансуванні економічного розвитку регіонів. Розглянуто питання стосовно випуску облігацій місцевих позик, визначено їх основні форми та роль на ринку місцевих запозичень. Зазначено переваги здійснення місцевих запозичень. Наголошено на основних проблемах, що перешкоджають становленню та розвитку ринку місцевих запозичень, окреслено шляхи їх вирішення з метою перетворення даного ринку на інструмент забезпечення місцевого економічного розвитку. . In recent years, the need to find additional financial resources by local self-government bodies in the context of the lack of instability in the sources of their formation has become especially urgent. Inadequate budget financing of cities and regions of Ukraine will intensify the problem of attracting the necessary resources from other sources. Under these circumstances, local budgets should use the opportunities of the securities market through the issuance of local bonds.
