    У статті досліджено систему соціального захисту молоді, яка є багаточисельною соціально-демографічною категорією населення України. Молодь становить близько п’ятої частини від усього населення, виступає одним із інститутів реалізації соціально-економічної політики, мета якої полягає у забезпеченні соціальної стабільності і розвитку суспільства. У статті зазначається про вагому необхідність дієвого механізму захисту молоді від соціальних ризиків та інших небезпек, оскільки в умовах реформування системи соціального захисту населення України, адаптації законодавства відповідно до європейських стандартів, демографічної кризи надзвичайно важливе місце посідає проблема соціального захисту молоді. The article examines the system of social protection of youth, which is a large socio- demographic category of the population of Ukraine. Young people make up about a fifth of the entire population, act as one of the institutions for the implementation of social and economic policy, the purpose of which is to ensure social stability and development of society. The article notes the great need for an effective mechanism to protect young people from social risks and other dangers, because in the conditions of reforming the system of social protection of the population of Ukraine, adapting legislation in accordance with European standards, and the demographic crisis, the problem of social protection of young people occupies an extremely important place.
