    Comparative analysis of international and regional treaties on combating human trafficking in countries of Europe and Central Asia. Порівняльний аналіз міжнародних і регіональних договорів щодо боротьби з торгівлею людьми в країнах Європи та Центральної Азії

    The aim of the study was to identify the similarities and differences of the legal and institutional frameworks for the response to trafficking in human beings in Europe and Central Asia. The use of a comparative legal analysis enabled the study to be conducted in a rigorous manner, and enabled rigorous comparisons both between national criminal law provisions, and both between legislation that was specialised, as well as institutional coordination and monitoring mechanisms. This ensured that differences between jurisdictions were found both in the harmonisation of international standards, as well as in the implementation of these standards in practice. Мета дослідження полягала у виявленні спільних і відмінних рис у підходах до формування та реалізації правових й інституційних засад боротьби з торгівлею людьми в країнах Європи та Центральної Азії. У межах роботи було застосовано метод порівняльно-правового аналізу, який дав змогу системно зіставити національні кримінально-правові норми, спеціальні закони, а також інституційні механізми координації та моніторингу. Використання цього методу забезпечило виявлення відмінностей не тільки на формальному рівні імплементації міжнародних стандартів, а й у практиці їх реалізації.
