Наведено перелік спеціальних засобів, які поліцейські на практиці застосовують найчастіше, та охарактеризовано порядок їх застосування. Висвітлено проблемні питання правового регулювання застосування спеціальних засобів. Запропоновано шляхи удосконалення організаційно-правового забезпечення застосування спеціальних засобів у діяльності Національної поліції України. The article analyzes the organizational and legal support for the use of special means in the activities of the National Police of Ukraine. According to the author, prior to the reform of internal affairs bodies and the establishment of modern police, law enforcement relied heavily on the use of special means. The police are authorized to use specific measures to carry out their duties, including handcuffs, rubber batons, binding tools, tear gas, light and sound distraction devices, devices for opening premises and forced traffic stops, water cannons, armored vehicles, special vehicles, and service dogs.
